About us and why we are special

The JIARE International Students Society (JISS) is an Association within the Joint International Academies of Research and Education (JIARE), which is a not for profit Organisation registered in England and Wales, United Kingdom. JISS is supported by the Joint International Academies and Associations Collaborating Group. We have been promoting international friendship and celebrating cultural diversity in the Society since 1953.

Aim of JIARE International Student Society.

We want to foster an environment where students can build relationships and network with individuals globally with the aim to create a mindset that promotes awareness, inclusivity, and acceptance of different cultures, traditions and opinions – paving the way for diversity and acceptance of all people.

With students from 203 countries at our Society, the International Students' Society will create a space where all students feel like they are at home. We want to bring together people from different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives to make the transition to student life less daunting. Come be a part of our journey and get ready to make unforgettable memories, and friends.
